Yucca Do Nursery, Inc. specializes in Drought and Heat Tolerant Plants and Trees. Our nursery is located in Zone 8b on the Upper Texas coast, approximately 60 miles inland, at an altitude of 200 feet. Our annual rainfall is 43 inches with average temperatures from 20 to 95 degrees. Our soil is pH neutral. Although the majority of our plants are best suited for this climate, many are hardy outside this range. Read on for answers to some of your questions:

Plants should arrive in good condition. If they don't, please notify us within 14 days and we will replace the plants if possible, or refund the list price. When corresponding please provide full name, address, and order number. That way we can process your claim in an efficient and timely manner. We will replace plants free of charge but request that you reimburse us for shipping.
When you submit your order, you'll be provided with the opportunity to list one or more substitute plants in the comments section of the order form as stock in some items is limited. If you list 3 or more substitute plants, you will get a bonus plant of our choosing.
We charge your credit card 1 to 3 weeks prior to shipping.
Yes! We use industry standard 128-bit SSL ("Secure Socket Layers") technology to encrypt your credit card information. Look for the padlock or locked key icon in your browser on the billing screen when ordering which indicates that your information is secure. Click the security seal to the right to view our Security Certificate from Thawte, a Verisign Company.

*The above states require Phytosanitary certificates. These are no longer provided free of charge by the Texas Dept. of Agriculture; therefore, we are passing the charge on to customers residing in those states. The charge for the Phytosanitary certificate is $5.00 per order. Also note that shipping times could be as long as 3 - 4 weeks for orders shipped to these states, although less in most cases. |
Yucca Do Nursery ships plants most of the year, weather permitting. Yucca Do will suspend the shipment of plants and plant stakes between August 1st through the 21st, 2007 and between December 2007 and February, 2008 while on holiday and plant expeditions.
Yucca Do Nursery does not ship plants outside of the USA and its territories. Unfortunately, if you can not provide a shipping address within the USA we can not accept your plant order. However, we do ship our DooHickey plant tags and stakes outside of the USA. Please e-mail or fax your orders requesting a price quote for the additional shipping charges for destinations outside of the USA.
Order sent to addresses within the state of Texas will be charged 6.5% sales tax.
Orders are typically shipped within two to three weeks of receipt. States requiring Phytosanitary certificates (AZ, CA, FL, MS, OR, and WA) may take an additional 1-2 weeks. If you would like to arrange for specific ship times, you may note that on your order form or contact us at 979-826-4580.
For web-only sales, orders must be shipped no later than 30 days after the end of sale date.
Yes, but your order must be placed by phone (979-826-4580) and pickups must be by appointment on Fridays after 10:00 A.M. or Saturdays before noon.
