Agave sp. Ruth Bancroft Silver

Silver Wings! Years ago we received this plant from the Ruth Bancroft Garden labeled as Agave potatorum. Though it certainly resembles A. potatorum in some ways it differs in others. This plant grows larger than true A. potatorum and has proven to be cold hardy (with established plants taking down to the mid. teens). A striking agave with broad, silver leaves with pronounced bud imprints. The margins of the leaves are lined with heavily teated black teeth.

The plants offered here are seedlings and will show seedling variability.
