Agave weberi
Y06-13 — Zone 8 to 10— Mexico
Agave weberi! This form of weberi is the clone you find in south Texas gardens. It's a fast growing agave that will get big rather quickly! The toothless leaves are broad with a strong bud imprint (an x in the middle of the leaf). With a light blue-gray cast on its dark-green leaves, this is a great species to incorporate in a dry bed for visual contrast between silver and gray agaves.

- I fell in love w/these beautiful Agaves when I saw them on a recent trip to Austin, TX. I called a local nursery in Austin & they informed me these smooth leaf Agaves are the ones found on the streets in and around Downtown Austin, TX. I've never seen anything like them they are GEORGEOUS!! (Posted on 4/14/10)
