Agave x 'Cornelius'
Y08-65 — Zone 8b to 10— garden origin
Mystery agave! No one really knows where this succulent came from, probably California. An outstanding ornamental that was perfectly made for container culture because, unlike other variegated agaves, this one stays low and does not reach out to grab you. The coloration is magnificent and even our jaded eyes at Yucca Do find it irresistible. This clone rarely offsets so there will not be many pups to trade with your gardening friends.

Notes and observations about this plant
- Magnificent agave by Jack Domurat
-
I consider this my most beautiful and magnificent agave. It is in a talavera pot by the edge of my pool.
Interestingly, I have taken 2 pups from the original, and they are both thriving here in NW Houston. (Posted on 9/22/11)
