Agave x 'Kissho Kan'

Happy Crown Agave! This stunningly variegated Agave potatorum type agave was selected by the Japanese. The compact, tight rosettes are composed of many, short broad leaves that are bluish-grey in color but have creamy-white margins. In perfect contrast to the creamy variegation, the edges of the leaves are lined with teeth that emerge a golden yellow, turning amber with time then graduating to a rich burgundy. You will want to designate a prominant spot in your collection for this beauty because as it matures it garners attention from everyone who passes by.
