Aloe humilis
Y08-69 — Zone 8a to 10— South Africa
Blue dwarf aloe! This low growing succulent is native to the transitional zone in South Africa between summer and winter rainfall areas - the best area from which succulents come. This clustering aloe has short, grey leaves with prickles on both the upper and lower surfaces. It is a wonderful little species that has very large blooms compared to the size of the plant. The 2 in. long bright orange tubular flowers are arranged loosely on top of a 10 in. tall spike.
