Aloe pruinosa
Y05-59 — Zone 9 to 11— South Africa
Pink stuff aloe! This aloe has relatively few leaves and tends to grow as a solitary rosette with an open form. The leaves are heavily marked on both sides with numerous white elongated spots. The flower spike is tall - for the spotted aloe group and can reach up to 6-1/2' high - and branches extensively near the upper third of the inflorescence. The flowers are swollen at the base of the floral tube and are pink. Both the flowers and the bloom stalk are covered in a powdery bloom, giving this aloe an unique appearance.
