Brahea sp. Super Silver

Super silver palm!
The seeds of this palm was purchased from RarePalmSeed.com. They believe it to be a new species from central Mexico and describe the area in which it grows to be arid and about 6000' in elevation. The description states the leaf color to be silver and that the leaf petioles are smooth and thornless. The leaves of the young plants that we are currently offering are dark green. It is common for the juvenile stages of Braheas to be green developing their silver leaf color with maturity. Exact cold hardiness is uncertain.
