Crinum x 'Maiden's Blush'

Blushing Maid Crinum! Crinum x 'Maiden's Blush' is a hybrid between C. moorei and C. zeylanicum made by the late Dr. Thad Howard. Its flowers have an open, star shaped trumpet effect and are white with a pink blushing to the petals. The foliage has a lush and neat appearance and is an attractive asset for the garden, even when out of bloom. Maidens Blush is a good candidate for that shady area of the garden where many crinums don't prosper or bloom well. It is known to be a prolific bloomer during the mid to late summer time period.
