Dasylirion miquihuanensis
T04-53 — Zone 7b to 10— Mexico, Nuevo Leon
Tree sotol! The largest growing of all the sotols we have seen in Northeastern Mexico--looking quite like a giant cycad in silhouette. This fast growing sotol has green foliage. Over time, it can achieve massive trunk growth, becoming 3' to 6' tall and having individual leaves 4' long. Impressive! Listed over the last 10 years as Dasylirion texana--trunk form, it is now identified as a new species. This plant first appeared in Catalogue 2, Fall 89-Spring 90.
