Chinese bloodroot! In early spring charming crystalline white poppy-like flowers appear just above the lovely oval leaves with scalloped edges. Everyone loves the foliage and are enchanted when they find out that it also has beautiful flowers. Makes a great groundcover especially in large drifts around shrubs and perennials in shaded areas.
