Gold spines with blue body! This easy to grow medium-sized barrel cactus lived for years outside our office in a shallow bulb pan. In the sometimes moist winters along the gulf coast, its placement within the eves allowed enough rain protection that it thrived and flowered sulfer-yellow flowers in early spring. The blue-colored body contrasts sharply with the clear yellow spines.
