Lousiana Palmetto! This robust form of Sabal minor tends to grow faster and larger than standard S. minor, often producing a trunk up to 10 ft. in height after many years. The leaves are more costapalmate than standard forms of S. minor and the flower stalks are longer and more arching. A good plant capable of producing a large, palm-like presence in the landscape.
