Sedum adolphii
Y11-25 — Zone 8b to 10— Mexico
Golden Sedum! This sedum has proven its durability. Several years back we planted it for trial beneath an Eucalyptus neglecta. As time passed an Asparagus virgatus grew in front of it, obscuring it from view, and we forgot all about this sedum. Then several months ago while working in this particular part of the garden I found this sedum again. It was doing quite well ,having survived dry times, wet times and severe neglect. The 2 in. long x 1/2 in. wide, succulent leaves are an olive-green to acid green color, having an amber tinting, which is most pronounced at the tips of the acutely pointed leaves.

Notes and observations about this plant
- Mr. by Walker Gay
- I found a hanging plant with one of these plants in it under the edge of a dumpster. The plant was pretty so I drug it out & took it home. I put it in a bucket of dirt because the basket was damaged. Well it snowed that night & do you know it didnt bother it at all. Three months later doing fine. (Posted on 4/15/10)
