Yucca aloifolia 'Marginata'
Q02-97 — Zone 7 to 10— southeastern USA
Aloe Yucca! This yucca has been in cultivation since 1605, which is pretty amazing since it would have had to have been introduced from coastal areas from South Carolina to Lousiana, certainly not the most hospitable areas in which to travel before the age of cars and air conditioning. This form makes a striking specimen and it needs room to be appreciated. Allocate a 10' by 10' area in your garden for this beautiful, carefree lily tree.

Notes and observations about this plant
- Unscathed by Randi
- These plants, a couple quite young/small came through our minus 6.5 temps completely unscathed. Slow to grow in the arid desert, but very nice. (Posted on 2/12/11)
